Bakewell Station Car Park to Miller’s Dale
This pay and display car park (free to blue badge holders) gives level access onto the Monsal Trail. It is reached via Station Road, which rises from the junction by Bakewell Bridge. The car park is of smooth tarmac, with two spaces reserved for disabled people.

Nearest toilets are in the town centre.
This is a great starting point for a walk along the Monsal Trail (See below)
You can walk as far as you wish. After one mile you will Hassop station café which is a lovely place to stop for refreshments.
Continuing along you will pass through the tunnel before arriving at the Headstone Viaduct below Monsal Head.
The walk continues with lovely views of Monsal dale and Cressbrook Mill before entering another tunnel and eventually arriving at Miller’s Dale station where refreshments are once again available. There are also toilets at the station.
