The Rambler Inn
Nestled into the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District. This charming country inn, although grand in stature, is a warm and homely environment, and the perfect place to spend an evening in comfort after a day of rambling walks and picturesque peaks.

Sitting at the start of the Pennine Way, The Rambler Inn is the first marker in a small string of hamlets leading through the valley up towards Kinder Scout and other amazing hiking trails with views to take your breath away.
Book a room and extend your stay in one of our comfortable and accommodating suites, each with its own en suite bathroom, television and tea/coffee making facilities.
Carrying real ales, traditional ciders and a large variety of whiskeys and spirits, the bar has something for everyone. Hot and cold food is served daily in all of our four dining areas, with a large variety of meals available as well as the Chef’s Daily Specials. We have an open bar area as well as a large beer garden, so you can enjoy your surroundings whilst you enjoy our hospitality.
Here at the Rambler, we welcome groups of all ages, children, and pets. Come along and indulge in the friendly environment the Rambler Inn is known for.
Hot and cold food is served daily in any one of our four dining areas. You can order between 12 noon and 9.30pm Monday to Saturday, and from 12 until 8pm on Sundays. All our meat is provided by a local butcher, so we guarantee fresh food all year round. Dining tables can be booked during the day; just ask our friendly bar team, who will be more than happy to take your orders.
On the fourth Tuesday of every month, The Rambler Inn is host to ‘The Folk Train’. Starting in Sheffield, the Folk Train carries Live Music Acts and Folk Music lovers to The Rambler Inn where a different live band performs every month. Great fun and a wonderful way to spend an evening, come along and join in the festivities.
There is access via a ramp on request through the front entrance into the bar and dining area.
There is a level access beer garden. There are no disabled toilets although there are public toilets available nearby.
