£355 from the 'Coast to Coast' team!
Wendy Westlake aged 50(Bluebell. wood T Shirt) and Catherine Brown aged 45(accessible Derbyshire T Shirt) both from Dronfield successfully cycled the the Coast to Coast to raise funds for 2 local charities close to their hearts.Wendy and Catherine undertook the ride the ride last year along with 11 other family members and friends, raising money for Accessible Derbyshire and Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice in the process. They cycled the 'Way of the Roses' route from Morecambe to Bridlington, completing the challenging journey over just three days.Accessible Derbyshire Founders Gillian Scotford and Jane Carver said:" We are thrilled they chose to raise funds for our new Unique Tourism Charity which highlights all the activities, attractions, accommodation and facilities etc for wheelchair users in Derbyshire and the Peak District. Our aim is to make the Peak District National Park THE most accessible National Park in the country and with the help of fundraisers like the cycling team we know we can achieve this. A great big 'thank you' to all those who took part and the generous sponsors who supported them in their fundraising efforts"
