Accessible Derbyshire 15 Parks Challenge.

25th Apr 2014

One of our aims at Accessible Derbyshire is to make the Peak District the most accessible National Park in the country. Not only that, but we want to inspire and support the other National Parks in the country to follow suit.

With this in mind, Gillian and Jane are to embark on the ’15 Parks Challenge’ to raise both awareness and funds for the charity. The aim is to complete an accessible challenge in each of the 15 National Parks during 2015, raising £15,000. The hunt is currently on for a suitable accessible challenge in each of the parks – the more exhilarating the better!

Joining the pair for the challenge will be Rob Truscott: British Powerlifting champion. Rob, who has a spinal injury, competes against able-bodied rivals and can lift up to 250kg, which is some achievement – and a great asset to the team!
