19th Jul 2014

Hoe Grange Holidays has been shortlisted for the annual Goldstar Awards by GTBS (Green Tourism Business Scheme), the WORLD'S leading sustainable tourism accreditation programme!
Hoe Grange offers outstanding eco-friendly, self-catering holiday accommodation on their working farm near Brassington in the stunning Peak District with four log cabins providing excellent disabled holiday facilities. Dogs are welcome and you can even bring your own horse on holiday!
The superb log cabins represent one of the highest scoring Gold Award self-catering businesses graded during 2013 throughout the UK and Ireland and is the only Derbyshire business to reach the finals.
Hoe Grange Holidays is up against 35 other businesses from England, 22 from Scotland, one from Wales and one from Northern Ireland. All were nominated after being assessed for their innovation, cost savings and green ambassadorship.

Hoe Grange Holidays is very much a sustainable business and David and Felicity Brown are both passionate about creating a wonderful holiday experience for guests, whilst leaving minimal impact on the environment. Felicity commented "We are delighted to be finalists in these prestigious national awards.  We hope our actions inspire guests and businesses alike to adopt sustainable practices, and minimise our impact on our beautiful Peak District countryside.
The winners will be announced during Green Tourism Week at the second Green Tourism Conference to be held on Monday 10th November at the Palace Hotel, Manchester.
Good luck Hoe Grange from everyone at Accessible Derbyshire!
