The Great North Run - one of the UK's most popular events - is taking place tomorrow, 7th September.

Joining the many thousands of runners will be Accessible Derbyshire Co-Founder Gillian Scotford, along with sisters Wendy Westlake and Catherine Brown, brother-in-law Steve Brown and close friend Kay Wood. Amazingly, this will be the 8th year the team are running the event, this time raising funds for Accessible Derbyshire.

The team are hoping that as many people as possible will support the charity whose aim is to improve the lives of disabled people, their families and carers living in or visiting Derbyshire and the Peak Distsrict.

Anyone wishing to donate can do so by visiting the charity's Just Giving Page at

"Good Luck" team from everyone at Accessible Derbyshire!

Thank you for your support!
