This Sunday, 21st September, Accessible Derbyshire supporters joined forces with the Lane End Farm Trust in Abney and Marmaduke's cafe, Sheffield to support a sponsored walk highlighting the farm's Down to Earth project.

The farm, situated in an idyllic location in the village of Abney,  provides a simple environment where disabled and disadvantaged young people can connect with nature and learn new skills. 'Down To Earth' is a partnership project between the farm and Marmaduke's cafe in Norfolk Street, Sheffield. Committed to sourcing local, ethically produced ingredients, Marmaduke's will use what is produced by the young people on the farm to create their delicious food.

This unique partnership gives Lane End Farm Trust much-needed income and ensures that Marmaduke's have the freshest, tastiest and most nutritious ingredients possible.

Sunday's walk from Abney to Marmaduke's cafe in the centre of Sheffield was designed to highlight this very special partnership. People (and animals!) of all ages took part enjoying great company and taking in some of the finest views in the world whilst raising awareness and funds for a very worthy cause.

Good luck to everyone involved in 'Down To Earth' from the Accessible Derbyshire team!
