Visit England Think Tank meets in London
Members of a new VisitEngland Think Tank met at Barclays Headquarters in Canary Wharf today to establish the way forward for the group.
The meeting follows an initial workshop which took place after the highly successful VisitEngland 'Unlocking the Purple Pound' conference earlier this year with the establishment of a formal working group being one of the key outcomes.
Members of the Think Tank include representatives from the National Trust, AccessChamp, Access New Business, Tourism For All, Sandcastle Water Park, Eureka, Visits Unlimited, Euan's Guide and of course Accessible Derbyshire. Barclays bank are also members of the group and strive to be the UK's most accessible bank.
The aim of the new body is to move forward the thinking on accessibility nationally and to increase collaboration on improving accessibility in the UK amongst group members and beyond.
