NCS Team Breakfast raise £766!

Team Breakfast: a group of students on the National Citizen Service (NCS) programme in Derby have raised an astonishing £766 for Accessible Derbyshire!
The National Citizen Service programmes is open to all 16 and 17 year olds and as part of the programme students are required to undertake a Social Action project. Team Breakfast very kindly chose our charity for this part of their NCS experience.
Their fundraising activities included a range of activities including a cake sale and 24 hour 'live stream' as well as a mammoth 22 mile walk on Thursday which took 10 hours to complete!
The team commented that the walk
"was very enjoyable but tiring: we walked for 10 hours (10am - 8pm). Most of the money we raised from family and friends was due to the walk though so it was a success. Overall we raised about £766. It was lovely to work with Accessible Derbyshire and to raise the money for the charity. Our involvement has given us a better insight into disability."
We have been absolutely blown away by the support we have received from the team and by their efforts on our behalf. We would like to thank every single member of the team for their enthusiasm and hard work. A great big Accessible Derbyshire thank you goes to:
