Sett Valley Stroll and Roll - 19th September

On Monday, 19th September, Enable are holding their 5th Summer 'Stroll and Roll'.

The last event at Cromford proved extremely popular with over 63 people enjoying a lovely walk and barge trip.

Enable have another planned walk on the 19th of September in the Sett Valley and after this we hope to set up a programme of similar events across the area. Details are as follows:

"Join us for a stroll and roll accessible walk on the Sett Valley Trail 19th of September 11am to 1pm.

Meet up at Hayfield Countryside Centre, Station Road, Hayfield, High Peak, Derbyshire SK22 2ES .

‘Stroll and roll’ are fully accessible walks led by qualified walk leaders. Disabled parking (free to blue badge holders) and accessible toilets are available at the centre.

Half way along the walk we will stop for a café break and refreshment.

The walks are free and the pace is set by you!

Please wear appropriate shoes and check the weather forecast so that you can dress appropriately.

The walk starts and finishes at the centre, bring a packed lunch or get some lunch at the half way café stop!. There are also lots of places to grab some food and a drink in Hayfield, ‘the gateway to the Kinder Scout!’

We want to develop a programme of learning disability friendly walking groups that help; IMROVE YOUR HEALTH, EXLPORE THE PEAKS, SOCIALISE AND GET ACTIVE
