Retiring Peak Park Chief donates £350

Jim Dixon, who has been head of the Peak National Park for many years announced his retirement earlier this year. Today, collegues, friends and family gathered at the Peak Park Headquarters in Bakewell to bid him a fond farewell.

Jim, who is also a Patron of Accessible Derbyshire very kindly asked people to donate funds to the charity in lieu of a leaving gift: a gesture which raised an amazing £350!

We want to extend our sincere thanks to Jim and to all the people who contributed to this collection: we are extremely grateful to you all. We also wish Jim the very best of luck in the many adventures his retirement is sure to bring him!

Best wishes,

Gillian and Jane.

Update: since leaving the Peak Park Jim has launched Jim Dixon Associates. You can see his website by clicking the following link http://www.jimdixonassociates.com/

For his sins, Jim remains a Patron of Accessible Derbyshire....... Thanks Jim!
