Open Day at Hoe Grange: Friday, 11th March

As part of their 10th anniversary celebrations at Hoe Grange Holidays are hosting a series of events throughout 2016 to increase awareness of disabled access and raise £5,000 to buy and train a Canine Partners assistance dog. Accessibility has been at the forefront of their business right from the start in February 2006, and has been instrumental in their success, so they now feel  it’s their turn to give a little back to those who have helped them along the way.

Their Open Day on Friday 11th March celebrates Disabled Access Day and provides an opportunity for everyone to view their wheelchair accessible log cabins and extensive range of extra equipment. Their award winning facilities make life easier and enable everyone to enjoy a relaxing holiday in the Derbyshire countryside, but at the same time offer a real home from home rather than a clinical environment.

Join them for a tea and a slice of cake, between 12 o'clock and 3pm to find out more, and if you're feeling adventurous why not try out their Boma 7 off-road wheelchair across the farm fields? It's easy to use, fantastic fun and definitely puts a smile on your face!

Canine Partners  are taking one of their amazing demonstration dogs along to the event so you can see exactly what a friendly extra helping hand, or paw, can mean to someone's independence. You may know someone who would benefit from an assistance dog or maybe you need one yourself? Go along and find out how a Canine Partner assistance dog could change your life.
