Music in the Gardens Supports Accessible Derbyshire

Music In The Gardens is a live music event organised by Rotary Clubs from South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire. Held in Sheffield's Botanical Gardens this four day, annual event raises much-needed funds for local charities.

This year we are delighted to announce that one of the charities to benefit from the event, which runs from Thursday, 30th June to Sunday, 3rd July is Accessible Derbyshire!

Originally, Jazz in the Gardens was a one day, low key event. Since then it has grown into an event recognised not only in this region but nationally as a special and much-loved series of music concerts in the entertainments calendar.

Whilst this year's artists are yet to be announced festival-goers are sure to be in for a treat with acts such as The Proclaimers headlining the festival in the past.

So, as you shiver in the cold of a typical British winter, think forwards to the four balmy nights in the Summer when you can pack up a picnic, dig out your deckchair and head over to Sheffield for a musical night to remember!

We will bring you news of this year's performers and how you can get your hands on these much sought-after tickets in the coming weeks.

In the meantime we would like to thank the Rotary Clubs of the area for choosing us: their support means a great deal and the funds raised will help some of the most vulnerable people in our area to access more of the many wonderful things it has to offer.

Gillian and Jane.
